Ulta haul

So this weekend was my birthday yay I'm now 26! The hubby let me go kinda crazy in ulta.

I bought the bare minerals starter kit and I love it! It makes my face look flawless!

I also snagged up the new book for shadows by Urban Decay! It's so awesome! I can't wait to use it.

I also got a lip pencil by tart! I fell in love with the true blood one they came out with so I had to get me another one in pink.

I got the Two Faced glamour to go mini kit. It's so cute and little.

I bought 3 OPI nail polishes in "in my back pocket", "green-wich village" and "mermaid tears"

And last I bought "it's alive" by chine glaze

New paper nails

I used : super star by ice
And then dipped my nails in alcohol and pressed news paper on them :) then topped with a clear coat.
This was my first time trying it so practice makes perfect I just wanted to show how it looks kinda messy but It will get better lol

School spirit eyeshadow

I used "cherry poppin red" from Ragdoll's bath and beauty and black from the super flip by Mark
Then added black gel liner from Avon in Black pearl. Lip stain in "Glamour Me" the true blood lip stain pencil by Tarte

Honey face mask

Spread a nice thin layer of honey on face but make sure to use a warm towel to open your pores before putting the honey on. Then let sit 15 mins and wash off. Use cold towel to close pores

School spirit nails

So this year my son is in pre k and they are doing stuff for homecoming football game and taking a field trip to the pep rally. Since it's his first school yr and trip I thought I'd show school spirit.

I painted my nails the school colors red and black paw prints :)

Aspirin face mask

You take like 5-10 non coated aspirins and put them in a cup with a few drops of water till the dissolve and you can make a paste.

Rub paste on face and leave on till it dries and starts to fall off.

Then wash off with either warm or cold water. It will help clear up your face.

Cotton Candy inspired nails

So I've been in love with the colors of cotton Candy blue and pink so I did my nails

Cotten candy

A fun colorful but not bright look for every day use. I used the park super pallet in peep show and sky high. I topped it of with a bit of ulta black eyeliner

"this is Halloween" Ragdolls bath and beauty

First I would like to say that I love Ragdolls bath and beauty! They have a wide range of colors and I find them very pretty.

I was sent their new Halloween collection for review and I was so excited when I got it :)
The collection is inspired by the nightmare before Christmas. I personally love this movie

These colors are so pretty I love them.

Nightmare is a deep black it's awesome I will be mixing it with some of their cherry poppin red for Halloween

In the dead of night- is a true blue. It reminds me of the sky when it's getting dark

Oogie boogie- yes this is a green but it's awesome. I have never in my life worn a deep green like this one and guess what I loved it. I put alittle of their toxic waste in the Corner of my eye lids and and looks so pretty together.

What's this?- is a purple and it's pretty by itself

Pumpkin king- just like it sounds it's an orange color. Reminds me of fall, pumpkins and thanksgiving ( Mmm now I want pumpkin pie)

Lock,shock and barrel is a loose glitter safe for your eyes and it's super sparkly mixed with silver reds and more

DIY: Lemon peel

This cheap at home peel works wonders I do it once or twice a week. Leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed.

Here's how:
Needed: lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
1 table spoon sugar ( or whole sugar packet)
2 cotton pads

Step one: if using fresh lemons cut in half. If using bottled lemon juice wait till second step

Step two: pour sugar on cotton pad, then squeeze or pour lemon juice all over sugar.

Step three: rub all over face for 1 to 2 mins in circular motion AVOID EYES!

Step four: rinse race

Step five: take other hAlf of lemon or pour lemon juice on second cotton pad and rub on face :) let dry

Your face will feel soft and smooth and refreshed

Review of Ragdoll bath and beauty

So I recently ordered an eyeshadow collection from Ragdoll bath and beauty. along with the collection I got a few samples. today I used "trigger happy"! I have never seen such a pretty sparkly color In my life.

I love it! It goes on smooth and it looks super pretty. It's like diamonds for your eyelids <3 Even out side it sparkled so pretty!

Swipers

I like this cotton pads. I got them at walmart. you can use the exfoliating side or the smooth side they are great

My top 5 favorite make up brands

1. I love AVON. I've used them from the first time I started wearing make :) they have great colors and their products last a long time

2. My new all time favorite is URBAN DECAY. I went into ULTA and played with some of the URBAN DECAY make up and fell in love! They have awesome eyeshadows and lip glosses. MY FAV IS THE POCKET ROCKET IN JAMES.

3. Ragdolls beauty and bath! i have found them facebook and ordered their breaking dawn eyeshadow series and i loved them. their colors rock and i will always buy from them

4. I like the lip pens from TART they go on great and leave your lips feeling like a little slice of pie. :)

5. Hard Candy- i picked some up from wal mart when they first came out and i like to pick up different things that they have and try them.

I'd have to say I like it's not really a bright as it looks. I thought it was gonna be brighter. I'd say 3 1/2 stars for this one but it was pretty

So I thought hey let's try this and I would have to say ********* ( I give it 9 stars) lol it worked great one pad took off all my polish on my nails and toes :) beats using a ton of cotton balls

New hardy candy finds

So I found this awesome stuff today at (Wally Wally Wally)walmart and I can't wait to try it it's an undereye brightener and concealer(in medium) and they just started making lip balm so I grabbed one up in vampire bite -___- hahah I can't wait

Va-va-voom red

Not too use to the red but I'm liking it. I used la color jazzy red and added a touch of lip shine

Ch-ch-ch-Chocolate

I used an Avon lip line called chocolate. It's a little dark for my taste but I like it. I also use the same lip shine over (it's hard candy lip shine)

I used nyx lip liner in flower I love it and added some lip shine and bam a light pink lips :)

Swatches from new Avon shadow

This eyeshadow duo is called poolside pop. I did 2 swatches of each color with an eyeshadow primer ( I used the eyeshadow potion by urban decay) and then with out primer. I love the way the color looks in the swatches. Tomorrow I'm gonna create look with it :)

I use avons nail experts base coat with ultas nail polish I picked sweetheart pink. I do love this color it goes on smooth and one coat works well :)

Use Johnson and Johnson baby oil gel after u shower it leaves your skin feeling ggggrrrrrrreat (i the words of Tony the tiger)

Opi blue shatter

I have been loving the shatter polish it's great I tried black and it was awesome! Silver was kinda clumpy and what not so i didn't like it.

I did the following
1. Base coat by Avon
2. Applied two coats of super star by pure ice (white)
Let dry
3. Apply blue shatter
4. Let dry
5. Apply top shine Avon top coat
